Job Description
|
Seeking a senior WebObjects developer to aid in the
development and deployment of complex WebObjects applications and to contribute to ongoing process improvements. The right candidate will be highly motivated, have strong leadership and communication skills, an eye for technical excellence, and a pragmatic approach to the software life-cycle.
Essential requirements:
* 4+ years of WO development experience with Java
* Strong OO design and development skills
* A comprehensive knowledge of EOF
* Complete familiarity with WebObjects deployment
* Understanding of Apache configuration
* Should be able to lead a small team of developers and have strong mentoring skills.
* Should be able to work closely with the technical architect to improve and introduce quality coding practices such as coding standards, code reviews,
configuration management, build management, profiling and unit testing.
* Relational database modeling
* Application integration with HTTP, Web services and other Internet protocols
* Some familiarity with JavaScript, CSS and other client side technologies.
* Knowledge of a version control system, preferably CVS.
Desirable:
* Solaris and Oracle deployment
* Other Java technologies like Tomcat, Log4j, Hibernate and Axis
* Localization of applications
* Content Management System development
* Some familiarity with Java Client development
* LDAP knowledge
* Perl
* XSL
